Pneumonia Bowl 2002

This year's version promises to be much colder than recent years', but the competition should be just as fierce.

Registration for the tournament will take place on Friday night at Molly Malone's in Kensington. Every team is encouraged to show up, sign up, and have a couple of beers.

The tourney itself will be played on Saturday at Montgomery Jr. High School in the northwest, as it has been for the past few years. The first game will get under way at about 9:30am, so be sure to show up early.

The party is at the Hillhurst-Sunnyside Community Centre (1320 Fifth Ave. NW); doors open at 8pm. Tickets are $10, drinks $3.
